Built on the official formula
Every point, sub-cap and tier in the calculator is sourced from IRCC's published CRS scoring tables — not a third-party interpretation.
Re-verified after every update
When IRCC publishes a Ministerial Instruction or changes a category-based draw, we re-test the engine and update affected guides the same week.
Editorially independent
We are not an immigration consultancy. We don't sell case evaluations or refer to paid representatives. Our only product is accuracy.
Privacy by default
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. We never see, transmit or store your age, scores, NOC code or family details.

Why we built this
When we first looked across the CRS calculator landscape, three patterns repeated everywhere: calculators that lagged the official formula by months; calculators wrapped in registration walls designed to harvest leads for paid consultations; and guides written by SEO contractors who had never opened an Express Entry profile in their life.
The Express Entry community deserves better. CRSScoreCalculator.net is our answer — a single, well-built, transparent resource you can come back to every time the system changes, before you book a consultation, file your profile, or decide whether to retake your language test.
How the calculator is built
Our scoring engine implements the four official sections in full: Core / Human Capital factors (age, education, official language proficiency, Canadian work experience), Spouse / common-law partner factors, Skill Transferability factors(education ↔ language, foreign work ↔ language, foreign work ↔ Canadian work, trade certificate ↔ language), and Additional Points (provincial nomination, French ability, sibling, Canadian education, qualifying job offer).
We test the engine against IRCC's worked examples and against community-reported "what did they score" snapshots from CIC News round-ups. Where the source is ambiguous, we default to the more conservative interpretation and document the trade-off in the relevant guide.
Editorial standards
- Every numeric claim links to a verifiable primary source (IRCC, StatCan, ESDC, official PNP page).
- Draws are pulled from IRCC's published rounds — not paraphrased.
- Guides are reviewed by a human immigration researcher before publication and re-reviewed quarterly.
- Corrections are made publicly within 48 hours and noted in the page footer.
What we are not
We are not lawyers, RCICs, paid agents, or an arm of IRCC. We do not file applications. We do not assess individual cases or guarantee outcomes.
